Hi all, www.friends4charity.net domain was expiring but we renewed it for the next 5 years. The fee was $50.80 but consider it as an extra donation, so free for the Friends.  Also, the website is hosted on my company Kajala Group's server, so it will stay free as well. Happy New Year to everyone! Jani & Yen Chi

There was a problem with the forum theme / visuals (some paths were incorrect when friends4charity.net moved). Fixed now.

Hi all,
I moved friends4charity.net to a new (faster) server. There was a few minutes maintenance break today but now everything should work ok.
I also upgraded website content management system to the latest version. The forum should work ok as is.

Website was down for ~15min for a system update. (but probably nobody noticed since it's 3.30am now) Changes: - Now the website works much faster than before. Should be more responsive.

There was a problem (for a few days) with the registration confirmation email sending. Sorry for the inconvenience if you tried to register a new account and couldn't -- I also activated the pending three new accounts now.
Anyway, now everything should be working ok.
By the way: If you want to add signature line etc. things to your post, check 'Profile' link on top of the page. From there select 'Forum Profile Information', there you can modify all sorts of stuff.

You can already do that: Profile -> Forum Profile Information -> Signature Is that what you meant? Cheers, Jani Hi Jani,
It's good so far however could you please add a function of signature part in where members can put their slogans or some sayings or somethings that they like. I think that will make the forum more attractive.

Some people were not able to login after registration:
After registration, you should get email to verify your email account. You need to click the link in that email. After that, you can login. If you don't get email, check your "Spam" folder since it might go there in some email services.
Also, posting to "Public Forum" requires login. However, anyone can read "Public Forum" without login. Before anyone could write to Public Forum as well, but it received so many spam messages that I had to disable writing without login.
Anyway, let me know if you have any problems, my email is kajala (at) gmail.com.
